Check out this wonderful review from Megan W.:

"My husband and I have purchased 2 cars over the last few years from Jeremy at Executive Kia, and everyone there has been extremely helpful.  They made the process easy and painless, and we have our repairs done there as well.  I would definitely suggest stopping by if you are in the market for a car."

"Everyone at Executive Kia is friendly and helpful. The service is excellent, and the people who work there show a genuine interest in how my car is working out for me as well as being ready and able to help out if I were to have any questions or concerns. I love my Kia Optima Hybrid, and when it's time for a new car I will definitely go back to Executive Kia."

Kia Motors to be founding partner for new College Football Hall of Fame

Cfhof_day

Irvine-based Kia Motors America and Atlanta Hall Management have entered into a long-term partnership to establish a new College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The facility is planned to open by fall of 2014.

According to the terms of the marketing deal between Atlanta Hall Management and KMA, the sponsorship includes integration of Kia vehicles inside the new interactive 94,000 square foot Hall of Fame facility in downtown Atlanta, less than 80 miles from Kia’s U.S. manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia.

The new facility will be adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. The $66.5 million project will feature in excess of 30,000 square feet of exhibit space, as well as a 45 yard-long indoor football field that also will serve as a unique programming and event space. The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame is a non-profit educational organization that runs programs designed to use the power of amateur football in developing scholarship, citizenship and athletic achievement in young people.

“With the new College Football Hall of Fame about to break ground in downtown Atlanta, Kia was presented with an extraordinary opportunity to reach passionate college football fans and expand our strategic sports marketing initiatives, while raising awareness, perception and consideration for the Kia Brand,” stated Michael Sprague, executive VP of Marketing and communications for KMA.

A big thank you today to Diane P. for sharing the love on DealerRater.

Dr_logo_web
"We wanted to buy a car in Jan. or Feb. We were driving by Executive and thought "why not just look"? Larry came out when we looked at the Forte. He took us for a ride in it. Really. We made him drive it. The car was great and the price even better so we bought it that day. The showroom is clean, the people great and the cars are beautiful. Mike Golas was very nice too. I'd give them a 6 but it only goes up to 5. I know if we ever need another car that's the place we'll go. Thank you guys." -Diane P.

Top Features for Parents

Kia-uvo-stereo

For most parents, handing a set of car keys to a teenage driver for the very first time is a worrying experience. That's why we've listed several features that offer peace of mind and are currently available on new cars. And while some, like airbags or seatbelts, are safety features, others are technologically advanced gadgets like Kia's UVO system, designed to help keep tabs on young drivers and limit their behavior on the roads.

Kia UVO

While an increasing number of cars are adding infotainment technology to their options lists, Kia's UVO system touts an especially thorough voice command function. Designed to help drivers place hands-free calls and adjust the vehicle's stereo, UVO may at first seem like it encourages concentration on activities besides driving. But since many young drivers are likely to fiddle with the stereo and place calls without help from voice commands, we think UVO provides a great way to ensure that young drivers keep their hands on the wheel while they're doing it. While the system is currently only offered in the Optima, Rio, Sorento and Soul, Kia says it will become available in all its vehicles within a few years.

The World's Most Dangerous Road: Bolivia's "Road of Death"

R4

North Yungas Road is hands-down the most dangerous in the world for motorists. If other roads could be considered impassable, this one clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters with extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses.

A fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks, and 100-200 people die there every year. In 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank named the La Paz-to-Coroico route "the world's most dangerous road."

Among the route there are many visible reminders of accidents, wrecked carcasses of cars and trucks lie scattered around at the bottom.

The buses and heavy trucks navigate this road, as this is the only route available in the area. Buses crowded with locals go in any weather, and try to beat the incoming traffic to the curves.

It does not help that the fog and vapors rise up from the heavily vegetated valley below, resulting in almost constant fogs and limited visibility. Plus the tropical downpours cause parts of the road to slide down the mountain.

Apparently some companies make business on the road's dubious fame by selling the extreme bike tours down that road. "Gravity Assisted Mountain Biking" is one of them. If you are nuts enough to consider it, please be advised that you will be only adding to the road hazards, as it's hard to spot a cyclist on the road's hairpin curves.

Check out these fantastic recent customer reviews!

"Rick has been courteous and straight-forward on all items relating to car. I enjoy talking to him because of this fact. The service dept. is efficient and quick."
"Mike was relaxed and allowed my wife and I the time to ponder decision on car with out the annoying sales pressure that usually drives me out of dealerships. I felt like a friend was helping me buy car not being pushed into a deal."
"The Service Dept was very friendly, able to adjust visit to my schedule and called me on a timely basis when care was ready, very happy."
"Initially bought a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer from Executive Kia in Wallingford, Connecticut. Had a great experience working with Chin Chang (salesman) through the entire process. He was very informative, he did not try to force me to purchase vehicle, and I observed that he knew his job from beginning to end. In the months following the purchase I received several coupons from their service department. I noticed (unlike in the past) prices were reasonable, service department was great, so I continued to bring my Chevy Blazer in for regular scheduled maintenance. I even went as far as to bring in my second vehicle, not originally purchased through their dealership. Unlike service departments in the past Executive Kia in Wallingford, Connecticut is fair, detailed in their work, and I will continue to bring my vehicles in for maintenance. When I am able to purchase another vehicle, I will go back and see Chin Chang. Mark Franco Wallingford"
"Mr. Parbhunath is very professional and treats this customer with mutual respect. I was very happy with his service and his attentiveness to detail and my wait wasn't too long."
"Jackie was my first contact with Executive Kia. She was very responsive to all my questions about buying vs. leasing a Soul and the costs associated with each. She was a joy to work with. Mike found the color I wanted and got me a deal on my trade-in. He spent time with me going over all the features of the car and more importantly he synced my phone to the bluetooth, hands-free app! I had a great experience."
"I worked with Mike in sales and he was a great sales person! He listened to want I was looking for and worked with me to fit my budget. He was honest and friendly and got me my white on black Kia Forte! The service department is always a great experience. They are friendly, honest and flexible with your schedule. Overall, it is always a pleasant experience at Executive Kia and I will be back for the new 2014 models!"
"GREAT SERVICE DEPT. ADVISORS AND MANAGER ARE TOP NOTCH. SALE PERSON (MIKE P) WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH. HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SORRENTO WAS HEPLFUL IN MAKING MY DECISION TO PURCHASE. SERVICE DEPT. HAS PERFORMED SOME SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE (FIX A FLAT TIRE 2 TIMES). TODAY NO ONE OFFER ANY THING FOR FREE!"

Show Spotlight: KIA Forte

La-ss-show-spotlight-kia-forte-20121130-001

Due in dealerships early next year, the all-new 2014 Kia Forte is making its world debut at the L.A. Auto Show.

New technologies aboard this sleek compact sedan include the South Korean company’s vaunted new UVO infotainment system, park assistance and LED headlights. It’s a little longer, wider and lower than the outgoing Forte, with an extended wheelbase that allows for improved interior roominess.

Power for the U.S. version is expected to come from the same 1.8-liter engine used in the current Hyundai Elantra (Kia is part-owned by Hyundai). Kia, which has enjoyed consistent growth in its American sales over the past two years, will follow the new Forte with seven more new or refreshed models in 2013, including a “significantly refreshed” Sorento crossover and a rumored new-generation Soul compact.

Though pricing for the 2014 Forte had not been announced at the time of writing, it looks like this stunning, well-equipped and comfortable ride will cost well under $20,000 (the 2013 Forte starts at $16,175).

New and positive reviews from recent Executive Kia customers!

"Rick is extremely efficient and listens to all of my concerns, acts on them and explains everything in detail. He is very warm and caring, and has earned my trust and therefore, I look to him whenever I need service on my KIA Sedona."

"Immediately after buying our 2008 Saturn, the dealership closed. Upon hearing Executive Kia serviced Saturns, we started going there. Our assocation with Executive Kia has been nothing short of superb. Tucker and Rick have both been exremely professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Even the half hour drive is well worth the effort."

"I've been dealing with some of these people when it was still Saturn of Wallingford. It feels like family. Rick is courteous, plus, takes my teasing with a smile. The quality of work of thetechnicians is beyond reproach. I wish I could give a higher rating....I'd give a 10. Rick is an asset to your organization. In fact, all of the people that I have dealt with, now and in the past, have always been wonderful to me."

"What can I say??? Not one bad thing about this dealership sales as well as service. They make you feel like part of the family. Always greeted and welcomed every visit why would I leave? 8 plus years now. Keep up the good work! Jean Penna."

"Mike Golas was excellent to work with during such an exciting, yet stressful time! When I first came to Executive Kia I was interested in the Kia Sorento (I believe it was the LX model I test drove) and ended up loving it. After some consulting with family and friends, I then changed my mind and contacted Mike to look at a different model (it ended up being the SX). Mike was easy to get in contact with, constantly asked me what my wish list was, and finally delivered on the Kia Sorento that fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable and stayed late twice (I believe) to get me the Kia that I wanted. I would definitely recommend Executive Kia, and specifically Mike Golas to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!"

My experience with Kia has been very positive from both the Sales and Service Departments. We purchased our 2008 Sedona 2 years ago. Chin was an excellent salesman, was very knowlegeable about his product, and did not pressure us to buy. In the service dept. Jeremy Carroll was professional, very friendly and responsive. Our car was serviced very promptly. I will return when I need service again.

I have been bringing my Kia to this dealership for the past 6 years (going on 7) and I wouldn't bring it any other place. The staff are always friendly and I feel like going anyplace else would be like cheating. They try to get me the best discounted price for whatever work I need done and I always leave satisfied that they did a great job.

I am on my second KIA from this dealership (1993 to present) and I couldn't be more pleased. I am extremely comfortable with the staff, they are kind and courteous. I go for service every 3,000 miles, they remember you and treat you with the utmost respect. If there are any issues that come up in their routine checkups they will explain it fully prior to working on it. I would highly recommend this dealership and the car brand itself to anyone!!!!!!
