"My husband and I have purchased 2 cars over the last few years from Jeremy at Executive Kia, and everyone there has been extremely helpful. They made the process easy and painless, and we have our repairs done there as well. I would definitely suggest stopping by if you are in the market for a car."

Irvine-based Kia Motors America and Atlanta Hall Management have entered into a long-term partnership to establish a new College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The facility is planned to open by fall of 2014.
According to the terms of the marketing deal between Atlanta Hall Management and KMA, the sponsorship includes integration of Kia vehicles inside the new interactive 94,000 square foot Hall of Fame facility in downtown Atlanta, less than 80 miles from Kia’s U.S. manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia.
The new facility will be adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. The $66.5 million project will feature in excess of 30,000 square feet of exhibit space, as well as a 45 yard-long indoor football field that also will serve as a unique programming and event space. The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame is a non-profit educational organization that runs programs designed to use the power of amateur football in developing scholarship, citizenship and athletic achievement in young people.
“With the new College Football Hall of Fame about to break ground in downtown Atlanta, Kia was presented with an extraordinary opportunity to reach passionate college football fans and expand our strategic sports marketing initiatives, while raising awareness, perception and consideration for the Kia Brand,” stated Michael Sprague, executive VP of Marketing and communications for KMA.

For most parents, handing a set of car keys to a teenage driver for the very first time is a worrying experience. That's why we've listed several features that offer peace of mind and are currently available on new cars. And while some, like airbags or seatbelts, are safety features, others are technologically advanced gadgets like Kia's UVO system, designed to help keep tabs on young drivers and limit their behavior on the roads.
Kia UVO
While an increasing number of cars are adding infotainment technology to their options lists, Kia's UVO system touts an especially thorough voice command function. Designed to help drivers place hands-free calls and adjust the vehicle's stereo, UVO may at first seem like it encourages concentration on activities besides driving. But since many young drivers are likely to fiddle with the stereo and place calls without help from voice commands, we think UVO provides a great way to ensure that young drivers keep their hands on the wheel while they're doing it. While the system is currently only offered in the Optima, Rio, Sorento and Soul, Kia says it will become available in all its vehicles within a few years.

North Yungas Road is hands-down the most dangerous in the world for motorists. If other roads could be considered impassable, this one clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters with extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses.
A fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks, and 100-200 people die there every year. In 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank named the La Paz-to-Coroico route "the world's most dangerous road."
Among the route there are many visible reminders of accidents, wrecked carcasses of cars and trucks lie scattered around at the bottom.
The buses and heavy trucks navigate this road, as this is the only route available in the area. Buses crowded with locals go in any weather, and try to beat the incoming traffic to the curves.
It does not help that the fog and vapors rise up from the heavily vegetated valley below, resulting in almost constant fogs and limited visibility. Plus the tropical downpours cause parts of the road to slide down the mountain.
Apparently some companies make business on the road's dubious fame by selling the extreme bike tours down that road. "Gravity Assisted Mountain Biking" is one of them. If you are nuts enough to consider it, please be advised that you will be only adding to the road hazards, as it's hard to spot a cyclist on the road's hairpin curves.

Due in dealerships early next year, the all-new 2014 Kia Forte is making its world debut at the L.A. Auto Show.
New technologies aboard this sleek compact sedan include the South Korean company’s vaunted new UVO infotainment system, park assistance and LED headlights. It’s a little longer, wider and lower than the outgoing Forte, with an extended wheelbase that allows for improved interior roominess.
Power for the U.S. version is expected to come from the same 1.8-liter engine used in the current Hyundai Elantra (Kia is part-owned by Hyundai). Kia, which has enjoyed consistent growth in its American sales over the past two years, will follow the new Forte with seven more new or refreshed models in 2013, including a “significantly refreshed” Sorento crossover and a rumored new-generation Soul compact.
Though pricing for the 2014 Forte had not been announced at the time of writing, it looks like this stunning, well-equipped and comfortable ride will cost well under $20,000 (the 2013 Forte starts at $16,175).

"Rick is extremely efficient and listens to all of my concerns, acts on them and explains everything in detail. He is very warm and caring, and has earned my trust and therefore, I look to him whenever I need service on my KIA Sedona."
"Immediately after buying our 2008 Saturn, the dealership closed. Upon hearing Executive Kia serviced Saturns, we started going there. Our assocation with Executive Kia has been nothing short of superb. Tucker and Rick have both been exremely professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Even the half hour drive is well worth the effort."
"I've been dealing with some of these people when it was still Saturn of Wallingford. It feels like family. Rick is courteous, plus, takes my teasing with a smile. The quality of work of thetechnicians is beyond reproach. I wish I could give a higher rating....I'd give a 10. Rick is an asset to your organization. In fact, all of the people that I have dealt with, now and in the past, have always been wonderful to me."
"What can I say??? Not one bad thing about this dealership sales as well as service. They make you feel like part of the family. Always greeted and welcomed every visit why would I leave? 8 plus years now. Keep up the good work! Jean Penna."
"Mike Golas was excellent to work with during such an exciting, yet stressful time! When I first came to Executive Kia I was interested in the Kia Sorento (I believe it was the LX model I test drove) and ended up loving it. After some consulting with family and friends, I then changed my mind and contacted Mike to look at a different model (it ended up being the SX). Mike was easy to get in contact with, constantly asked me what my wish list was, and finally delivered on the Kia Sorento that fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable and stayed late twice (I believe) to get me the Kia that I wanted. I would definitely recommend Executive Kia, and specifically Mike Golas to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!"
