Kia has recently released the first promotional video with the facelifted version of the Sorento, revealing the vehicle from just about every possible angle.
The South Korean based automaker Kia is once again placing its Sorento facelift into the spotlights, this time with the help of the first promotional video with the Asian crossover. The 2013 Kia Sorento is coming with a major facelift and it gets revised aesthetics and an updated platform. The facelifted version of the Kia Sorento now has a new front bumper, a new rear bumper, a fresh set of LED headlamps and the option of getting 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior design of the crossover has been optimized and the model is also getting a recalibrated suspension system. The 2013 Kia Sorento facelift is being offered only with seven seats and the model is still keeping the 2.2 liter CRDi engine, but it might receive a turbocharged petrol unit later on, the same one used on the Hyundai Santa Fe. Kia says that the 2013 Sorento has lost 100 kg from its total weight and its maneuverability has been improved. The 2013 Kia Sorento will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. Meanwhile, you can watch the video posted below. Power and Associates 2012 Initial Quality Study (IQS) ranked the popular urban passenger vehicle highest in initial quality in the compact multi-purpose vehicle segment. The study captures feedback from owners after 90 days of purchase in two distinct categories: quality of design and quality of production. Refreshed for the 2012 model year, the Kia Soul was fine-tuned with a significant number of technological, powertrain and style enhancements, and consumers have responded with sales up more than 22 percent through the first five months of the year.

In the study, the Kia Soul was honored as the highest-ranking model in the compact multi-purpose vehicle segment, while the Kia brand made significant advancements with gains that outpaced the industry average. The annual report includes 233 vehicle models and measures attributes across eight categories, including the driving experience, engine and transmission, and a broad range of quality problem symptoms reported by vehicle owners.

Total Car Score, one of the most comprehensive automotive ranking and comparison websites, has named Kia Motors America (KMA) as one of its "Top 10 Best Car Brands for 2012." One of only two non-luxury brands listed, the fastest-growing automotive brand in the U.S. also posted the biggest improvement over 2011 with a gain of 3.76 points. The list, based on the average Total Car Score for every model within the manufacturer's product line up, comes on the heels of the 2012 Soul urban passenger vehicle and 2012 Sorento midsize CUV being honored with "Top Scoring Car Awards" and the 2012 Forte compact sedan landing on the "Top Cars for College Grads" list from the website.

The "Top 10 Best Car Brands for 2012" list by Total Car Score is based on numerical ratings for 2012 model year vehicles currently on the market. The list provides a data-driven assessment of which automakers are producing the most desirable, highest quality cars, crossovers, SUVs and pickup trucks.

When washing your car, use two buckets - one filled with soapy water for washing the car and the other filled with clean water for rinsing out the wash mitt before dipping it back into the soap. By the time you finish washing your car you'll notice the soap bucket should still be relatively clean while the rinse bucket will be very murky. This helps prevent contaminating the wash mitt with dirt and grit every time you reload with soap which could otherwise introduce swirl marks and scratches to your paint. Also, always use either a microfibre or wool wash mit. Never use a sponge or dish soap.
